Return and Refund Policy

Welcome to Fivemies. We want your shopping experience to be smooth, joyful and hassle-free. Please read this Return & Refund Policy to understand how returns and refunds are handled at Fivemies.
1. Return Window
You may request a return of eligible products within 5 days from the date of delivery. If no return request is made within this period, the product will be considered accepted by you.
2. Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return:
- The product must be unused, in its original condition, and with all tags, packaging, manuals, accessories intact.
- The product must have been purchased from Fivemies and bear the original invoice or order number.
- Opened or used items may not be eligible, unless they are defective.
- Products not eligible for return: hygiene-sensitive items, opened toys where safety seals are broken, clearance items, custom orders — as applicable.
3. Free Shipping for Returns
- If the return is due to a product defect, wrong item shipped, or other fault on our part, we will bear all return shipping costs and arrange for pickup or provide a pre-paid label.
- If the return is due to a change of mind or other reason by the customer, you may be responsible for shipping costs as notified at the time of initiating the return.
4. Process for Return
- Contact our Customer Support (support@fivemies.com) or Whatsapp (+91 80721 95805) within 5 days of delivery, providing your order number, reason for return and ideally a photo of the item.
- Once approved, you will receive return instructions including packaging and courier details.
- Pack the product securely, attach the return label or as per instructions, and send it back to us.
- On receipt and inspection of the returned item, we will notify you of acceptance. If a product is found not in eligible condition, we reserve the right to decline or adjust the refund.
5. Refunds
Once the returned item is received and accepted after inspection:
- If the refund is approved, the amount will be credited to the original payment method within 7 business days.
- We aim to process refunds within 5–7 business days of accepting the return; however, the actual time taken for the amount to reflect in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment gateway.
- For products exchanged (where an exchange option is available), shipment of the replacement item will be initiated only after the original product is returned, received, and successfully cleared.
6. Defective / Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged, defective or incorrect item:
- Please contact us within 3 days of delivery with photo evidence.
- We will arrange for a replacement or full refund including free return shipping.
- Items determined to be defective will not count toward the regular “change of mind” return window.
7. Cancellation before Shipping
You may cancel your order before it is dispatched. Once an order is shipped, cancellation cannot be accepted. Please contact support as early as possible for cancellation requests.
8. Exchanges
- Where possible, we offer exchanges (for size, colour or variant) instead of a refund. The same eligibility, packaging & condition rules apply. Shipping for the exchange may be free or may incur charge depending on the reason for exchange – please confirm at time of request.
- Once your exchange request is approved and the original item is received, the exchange product will be dispatched within 2–3 business days.
- Delivery of the exchanged item typically takes 5–10 business days from the date of dispatch, depending on your location and courier partner performance.
9. Condition of Returned Items
Returned items must be in their original condition, unused, and include all parts/accessories. Items showing signs of wear, damage, missing packaging, or missing parts may have the refund reduced or be rejected.
10. Policy Changes
We may update this Return & Refund Policy at any time to reflect changes in our operations, business model or legal requirements. The revised version will be posted with a new “Last Updated” date. We encourage you to review the policy before making purchases.
